Fish Welfare

In order to preserve our Fish stock in good health the committee request members to follow these guidelines:

• All anglers must carry either a disgorger or forceps 
  
• An Environment Agency Approved Landing net must be used
  
• Place keepnet as close to fishing position as possible and submerge as much as possible
  
• Do not retain fish in keepnet for longer than 5 hours
  
• Any Fish over 5 lbs must be returned to water immediately
  
• Do not overcrowd keepnet
  
• Do not tumble fish down a keepnet
  
  

The good health and quality of our fish is paramount to our Club, please adhere to the guidelines.
