No one knows that lake better than my grandad, Steve Woodward and my uncle, Jamie Woodward. my grandad fished that water for about 30 years and stopped fishing there like 5 years ago, my grandad says that place doesnt fish like it used to, you used to catch carp all the time. he says there must be something that had killed the fish, mainly carp. his biggest was a 28 lb 6 oz ghost carp from that lake round about 10 years ago, he nearly owned that lake but he wanted to quit for a while, now that i started fishing as im only 13 yrs of age, he takes me to other places, but i still like to visit raychem becauase its a good place to catch perch and roach and even some pike if your lucky  |

can anyone confirm the stories of the massive KHV outbreak at the lake? ive been down hinders today an theyve had hundreds of anglers in there asking about it. i have also heard that the herpes originated with one of your bailiffs terry accott? i hope someone can shed some light on this very troubling situation.

 fished raychem for the first time,on monday had a good day but the fishing was very hard. |

havent fished this water for around 5yrs.but have recently started getting aload of new gear together,so will def be back down there soon.had some good days in the past.good size carp caught and some good bags of mixed fish,along with a few good perch.would reccomend it. |
